Trenton, NJ - According to Tome Bergeron, "Macrocure, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company based in Israel, appears to be closer to moving its headquarters to New Jersey. The Economic Development Authority awarded Grow NJ tax credits for up to $3.2 million over 10 years for Macrocure to establish its North American headquarters at the EDA’s Technology Centre of New Jersey in North Brunswick. The EDA previously had approved a 10-year, three-month lease at the Centre.
Kenilworth, NJ - Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center today announced that they have entered into a strategic clinical research collaboration to evaluate Merck’s anti-PD-1 therapy, KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab), in combination with other treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and/or novel antitumor medicines.
