Business Incubation Global (BIG) Summit, held in Dallas, TX on April 22, 2018, gathers entrepreneurial ecosystem leaders from over 42 different countries. BIG Summit will bring together people from around the globe to discuss industry trends in different countries and to be matched with international peers.
The BIG Summit will be held in conjunction with InBIA’s 32nd International Conference on Business Incubation (ICBI32), on April 22 to 25, 2018. The day-long summit is organized in partnership with the U.S. State Department and has a goal of generating insights for accelerating entrepreneurship centers through international alliances. The BIG Summit will help bridge the gaps between entrepreneurship professionals in different countries to better serve economic development around the world.

How exactly? We’re glad you asked!  During the BIG Summit, the U.S. State Department will run it’s Sister to Sister matchmaking program, which matches peers from international organizations to create key partnerships to help startups expand into foreign markets. The goal of these meetings is to enhance international collaboration, draft new partnership plans while identifying potential areas of collaboration, and exchange knowledge with other small business assistance centers - especially those in the Western Hemisphere.

Good news - there are also grant opportunities available to supplement Latin American organizations’ travel expenses. Additionally, InBIA has partnered with Delta Air Lines to provide discounted rates to/from Dallas Fort Worth and Dallas Love Airport for ICBI32.

(Reservations and ticketing are available via www.delta.com/meeting or by calling our Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800-328-1111 and using the InBIA meeting code NMQEZ. Receive visa information, here.)
