Over 75 companies and organizations have already signed on as members of the coalition, representing a great mix of tech, non-tech, education, private and public organizations.
These coalition members all recognize that students' access to computer science skills training can make a huge difference, not only in the lives of the students and their ability to fill higher paying jobs, but also to contribute greatly to a state's economy and the U.S. economy as a whole.
In addition, we urge you to click on the Facebook and Twitter icons on the home page and “Like” or “Follow” CSEC on these social media sites.
Then ask your colleagues, friends, and other contacts in the state who care about education and attracting higher paying jobs to your state to do the same.
The CSEC website also provides a lot of good information that you can use and point others to regarding the Coalition's efforts, the importance of getting computer science in schools, and the funding need.
