35 NJ companies land in top spots on Forbes’ Best Employers list

Trenton, NJ - Forbes released its annual America’s Best Employers list for 2018, and 35 New Jersey-based companies made it into the rankings. The list was created by Forbes in partnership with Statista to identify companies liked best by employees. Forbes and Statista divided the list, creating rankings in two categories: the top large companies in the U.S. with more than 5,000 employees and the top midsized companies with 1,000 to 5,000 employees. The lists ranked the 500 large and 500 midsize employers with the highest recommendation.
Two New Jersey companies were ranked in the Top 100 in the large companies list and three New Jersey companies were ranked in the Top 100 for the midsized companies list.

322. Novartis, East Hanover;

​To determine the rankings, Forbes and Statista surveyed 30,000 American’s working for businesses with 1,000 plus employees. Respondents were asked to rate on a scale of zero to 10 how likely they would recommend their employer to others. They survey also asked respondents to nominate organizations in industries outside their own.
