Three schools will get P-TECH funding for the 2019-2020 school year: Panther Academy, New Brunswick High School and Burlington City High School.
During the six-year program, students will learn high school-level and, through a partnership with a community college, college-level coursework for additional grades 13 and 14.
Under the program, students will also participate in internships and mentorships in STEM fields, provided by business and industry partners. Panther Academy students will partner with IBM, New Brunswick students with Somerville-based Edwards Engineering and Burlington City students with Burlington-based machining manufacturer Centryco Inc.
