U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-6th District, announced three research grants for Rutgers University totaling almost $800,000 to fund research into breast cancer, sleep and metabolism diseases, and liver fibrosis.
Pallone said the grants will be used toward finding a cure for debilitating diseases and conditions. The congressman is the second most senior member on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees health care.
