The panel discussions will also include Program Manager Diana Adel and Laboratory Director Steven Cowley, as well as Sen. Andrew Zwicker, a physicist who is the head of STEM Education and Strategic Partnership at PPPL, and Michael Blatt, state director of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeships.
Other PPPL apprenticeship program events this week include “In High School and Don’t Know What to Do Next?” held on Thursday, Nov. 17, a program that is geared toward high school students, families, faculty, organizations, and any inquiring minds. The one-hour event begins at 10 a.m. and ends with a fusion science demonstration. Another one-hour program overview “What is the PPPL Apprenticeship Program and Is It Right for Me?” will also be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17.
