Ewing, NJ - Until recently, all Mehak Aswani, Pauleena Pal, and Sheenal Parikh had to show for their future restaurant, Tikka Roll, was an Excel file full of projected sales figures and long list of needs, including a fridge, a sink, and a fryer. But after winning first prize in the 2015 Mayo Business Plan Competition on April 8, the three seniors have $22,000 to put toward making the restaurant a reality.

Various events and training seminars are scheduled for May 4-8 at individual regional centers and in the field to commemorate the importance of small businesses to the state and national economy.

Experts will discuss emerging and potentially damaging cyber crimes, which industries are most at risk, and solutions for concerned business owners at The College of New Jersey, Ewing Township, NJ on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. There is no fee for attendance and breakfast and lunch will be included.”
