Madison, NJ — Drew University is again featured in Colleges That Create Futures, The Princeton Review’s select guide to schools that deliver great outcomes.
Only 50 schools are in the guide, which was first published two years ago and is now out in a second edition. Other featured schools include Columbia University, Northeastern University, Smith College, Stanford University and Vassar College.
In its seven-page entry, Drew is described as having “access to highly-ranked programs, resources in New York City and all over the world, real-world opportunities with faculty mentors and an involved alumni network.”

In particular, students note Drew’s diverse student body, highly accessible professors and close proximity to N.Y.C., where they can pursue internships and participate in semester programs on Wall Street, the United Nations, communications and media, theatre, art and social entrepreneurship.
The entry also highlights Drew’s top-ranked theatre program, psychology major, Center for Global Education and Research Institute for Scientists Emeriti, which enables undergraduates to work with retired scientists in a laboratory setting.
One of those scientists, Associate Fellow William Campbell, earned the 2015 Nobel Prize in Medicine for developing a drug that treats river blindness.
Drew’s presence in Colleges That Create Futures coincides with its inclusion in The Best 382 Colleges, Princeton Review’s annual guide to colleges, which has featured the University since 1994.
In its assessment of the school, Princeton Review ranks Drew top 10 in theatre and race/class interaction.
