New Brunswick, NJ - New Jersey Health Foundation (NJHF) and the Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) at Princeton University announced the signing of an affiliation agreement with the that allows both organizations to work together to develop opportunities to advance breakthrough biomedical research being conducted at Princeton.
NJHF is a not-for-profit corporation that supports biomedical research and health-related education programs through its Grants Program.
"New Jersey Health Foundation's expertise and experience lies in the areas of funding research, commercializing intellectual property and forming, funding and managing start-up companies," explained James M. Golubieski, president of NJHF.
"As a leading research institution focusing on innovation, Princeton possesses the technology and entrepreneurial spirit that will allow us to form an exciting partnership to advance our mutual goals of bringing breakthrough technology to the marketplace."
"The addition of Princeton adds strength to the whole New Jersey Health Foundation network as we plan to work with our affiliated organizations to develop unique collaborations," noted George F. Heinrich, M.D, vice chair and CEO of New Jersey Health Foundation. "We are also looking to grow our affiliate network by adding other organizations involved in developing innovative research so that we can collaborate as a larger group on exciting projects that advance science within the state."
