According to Forbes, these rankings were formed from a custom-blended earnings salary based on research from the Center for College Affordability and Productivity and the new U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard.
The Forbes ranking is intended to help students and parents determine the colleges that provide the best return on investment. Stevens was listed among Ivy league institutions, including MIT (No. 1), Stanford University (No. 3) and Harvard University (No. 4), and was the only university in New Jersey to make the list.
According to the Georgetown study — Ranking Your College: Where You Go and What You Make — Stevens graduates, with annual earnings of $82,800, rank among their peers at MIT, Harvard and Georgetown universities.
Stevens was also ranked in the top 20 in the nation for 20-year net return on investment, with financial aid, for graduates in the 2016 College ROI Report by PayScale.
