Ewing, NJ - This afternoon at 3pm, The College of New Jersey will be hosting its Ground Breaking Ceremony for its STEM Complex. The Project funded in part by the Building Our Future Bond building will cost $75 million. The 89,000 sqft STEM Building is the heart of this project. It will house the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. It will contain state-of-the-art laboratories and prototyping facilities.
TCNJ President R. Barbara Gitenstein, members of TCNJ's Board of Trustees, New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney, Deputy Secretary of Higher Education Gregg Edwards, and Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann are scheduled to attend. Robo2, one of TCNJ's School of Engineering's NAO robots, will also be in attendance and ready to dig!
