HINJ’s new STEM Education portal presents information from a number of sources regarding the current state of STEM education in the United States, its significance to the nation’s and New Jersey’s economic well-being, its importance to advancing medical innovation, and the life sciences industry’ investment in programs designed to advance STEM education.
The STEM Education page is the latest offering on HINJ.org, which was re-launched in February 2013 as part of the association’s strategic plan to build a dynamic communications capability that delivers relevant, robust and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
In September 2015, HINJ added to its website a Value of Medical Innovation portal, which presents a fact-driven, consumer-friendly digital library that delves into the myriad benefits of medical innovation, which saves lives — and saves money.
In March 2016, the association expanded the New Jersey Life Sciences: By the Numbers portal, which is a regularly updated online library of information from HINJ and third-party sources on the life sciences’ significant impact on New Jersey’s economy.
In June 2016, the association launched the HINJ Life Sciences Celebration page, which presents information regarding the organization’s annual Celebration and its distinguished honorees in the areas of public service, research, patient advocacy and access, and education.
HINJ promotes each of these pages via Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
HINJ’s website now is organized into seven topical sections: About HINJ, Life Sciences and New Jersey, Value of Medical Innovation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), STEM Education, Policy and News.
