The Senate is not expected to hold committee actions on these bills and will instead use these drafts when the FY 2021 appropriations legislation moves to conference between the chambers. The House passed 10 of 12 appropriations bills earlier this year, as covered in the Digest. Current FY 2021 funding expires on Dec. 11, and the government will need to pass a new continuing resolution or full-year funding to continue operations.
