The event is aimed at honoring inventors throughout the state, from graduate students just beginning their careers to those that have a long and storied history of innovation in New Jersey.
Receiving the Trustees Award at the event will be Owen O’Connor. The award is in recognition of “his world-renown contributions to medical research, leadership and dedicated service to society,” according to Stevens Institute of Technology, co-sponsor of the hall.
Inductees into the Inventors Hall of Fame for 2016 are Yann LeCun, Salvatore Salamone, Howard Fidel and Dr. Donald Landry.
