Tugba (pronounced Tuba) Aksoy moved to New Jersey from Ordu, Turkey in 2000, and before joining NJII served as a secretary at Bloomfield College where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management.
Aksoy then served as an administrative assistant at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Essex County where she worked with 4-H Youth Development and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program.
NJII Executive Director of Economic & Cluster Development Ian Trammell said, “We are delighted to have Tugba join our NJII Economic & Cluster Development team where she will be responsible for assisting with the cultivation of clients, project management and special events. She will also play an important role in grant activities.”
