Somerset, NJ ― Andrew Sheldon reports in NJBIZ that U.S. News & World Report released its rankings for the top high schools in the country. Five of those schools represented in the Top 100 are located in New Jersey.
The highest-ranked school in New Jersey was the High Technology High School in Lincroft, which was ranked nationally at No. 11. Close on its heels was Biotechnology High School in Freehold, ranked No. 14.
At No. 48, Dr. Ronald E. McNair High School in Jersey City was the third-ranked N.J. school, with its Teterboro neighbor, Bergen County Technical High School, ranked No. 61.
The last high school to break the national Top 100 was Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, at No. 92.
