NJIT Offers Graduate Degrees in STEM, Business and Design

​Newark, NJ ― New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is one of the nation's top polytechnic public research universities focusing on fields related to science, technology, engineering and mathematic (STEM); business; and design.
 
NJIT's multidisciplinary curriculum and computing-intensive approach to education provide technological proficiency, business acumen and leadership skills.  With an enrollment of more than 11,300 graduate and undergraduate students, NJIT provides small-campus intimacy with the resources of a major public research university.
 
NJIT offers individuals who want to enroll for graduate-level credit three choices: graduate certificates, master's and/or Ph.D. degrees.
 
Graduate certificates provide the opportunity to learn advanced subjects to: (a) become more productive in a current occupation; (b) acquire new knowledge deemed appropriate for career advancement or a job search in a demanding field; or (c) receive an introduction to an emerging field before committing to a master's degree program that requires additional courses.
​Some examples include intelligent transportation, nanotechnology, quantitative finance and risk analysis, medical devices, computational social science, life sciences, and big data analytics for various industries. 

Advanced degrees or certificates are essential in fields that rely on innovations for the design of new products and services that can have a major impact on quality of life.

Finally, individuals holding an undergraduate or advanced degree may look into new graduate school opportunities for personal growth. 

NJIT's graduate curricula not only offer new knowledge, but also challenge participants at higher levels compared to undergraduate education. Moreover, NJIT's technological advances in digital learning have created a fertile ground for tremendous flexibility in graduate education.

Individuals with demanding work schedules aspiring to pursue a graduate degree part time can enroll in courses that do not follow the traditional face-to-face learning mode but instead rely exclusively or partially on online learning. NJIT is developing a learning model based on the seamless convergence of the online and face-to-face modes in terms of quality of learning.
