The university, Rowan College at Gloucester County and Rowan College at Burlington County have announced an agreement to offer a four-year degree program in which students attend three years at RCGC or RCBC and complete their degree with a fourth year at Rowan University.
A bachelor's degree would end up costing about $25,000, according to a press release issued by Rowan University. That's about half of what commuters spend at the state university and a quarter of what they would pay at many private schools, officials said.
“Our goal is to increase access, to provide the highest quality education and to save students and their families money," Rowan University President Ali Houshmand said in a statement on Thursday. "This program will save them a lot of money."
