“Rutgers is committed to working with industry in New Jersey, and this website is just one of the tools that we’ve developed to accomplish that strategic objective,” said Christopher J. Molloy, Ph.D., R.Ph., Senior Vice President for Rutgers Research and Economic Development.
“The university is expanding the depth and scope of its industry partnerships, and our Corporate Engagement Team is spearheading the effort,” said Dr. Molloy. “The Business Portal makes it easier to access that team and the university’s extensive research enterprise.”
Cherise Kent was appointed as director of Rutgers’ Corporate Engagement Team in Fall 2014 and led the development of the new website.
“The two search functions built into the Business Portal allow users to identify experts at Rutgers, explore our technologies available for licensing and locate the university’s research centers and facilities that best align with their interests,” Kent said.
“At the same time,” Kent added, “contact information is very easy to find for users who elect to forego a search and instead want personal assistance or advice from a knowledgeable Rutgers insider.”
