New Brunswick, NJ — NJBIZ reported that Rutgers-New Brunswick was one of 37 universities in the United States to be ranked among the Top 100 research-intensive universities in the world, according to the prestigious CWTS Leiden Rankings.
Rutgers ranked No. 77 in the world, but No. 31 among schools based in the United States.
Rutgers was behind Cornell (No. 26), Washington University in St. Louis (27) and New York University (29).
However, Rutgers was ahead of Vanderbilt (32), Southern California (34), Emory University (35) and the University of Chicago (36).
