Professor John Farmer, who led New Jersey’s response to the 9/11 attacks as the state’s attorney general, and Clifton Lacy, director of IEPHS, will lead a team of experts in designing a multi-year implementation of a new intelligence program at the university.
In a news release, Farmer said this type of education couldn’t be more timely.
“As recent events have shown, the need for reliable, legally obtained intelligence has never been more acute,” he said. “This designation and grant will enable Rutgers to build on the expertise that already exists at the university to shape intelligence policy and to educate and train the next generation of intelligence professionals.”
