The fund offers grants of up to $100,000 for promising technologies in areas including life science, physical science, engineering, agriculture and IT that have strong potential for commercial success but are “too early” for investors or industry partners.
Successful applicants are eligible for consecutive grants after completion of their initial TechAdvance-funded project. Smaller projects may be eligible for TechXpress, a fast-track program that offers grants of up to $10,000.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis for projects that meet the eligibility requirements.
