When: During the two-week program, July 12-July 25, 2015, students will live on campus and take part in activities within the Unified Science Center and field trips off campus.
Where: Stockton University’s Unified Science Center with field trips to Batsto Village, the pygmy pines on Route 539, the Mullica River, and Atlantic City Cruises at historic Gardner’s Basin
Of note: Attached is an agenda with locations and times of activities. Field trips include seining on the Mullica River, dolphin watching off Atlantic City, a camping and hiking trip at Batona Camp in Wharton State Forest and a drive through the pygmy pines followed by an analysis of a nearby coral fossil deposit. The on-campus activities include shark conservation, how to make ice cream, South Jersey butterflies and Pine Barrens storytelling.
