Galloway, NJ — Stockton University’s 37th Annual Scholarship Benefit Gala will be held on Saturday, April 22, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with a format that allows guests to circulate and enjoy live entertainment and special menus in each of four spaces at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club, 401 South New York Road in Galloway, N.J.

Proceeds raised support the Stockton University Foundation Benefit Gala Endowed Scholarship Fund, which provided over $110,000 in scholarships to 114 students last year.

Since 2007 the Scholarship Benefit Gala has added more than $3 million to the endowment in support of student scholarships.

The endowment is a part of the Foundation, which has grown its net assets from $3 million in 2003 to nearly $34 million today. Over $600,000 was awarded by the Foundation to deserving students this year.
“Scholarships provided through the generosity of our donors enable students to complete their educations, helping them to thrive in the global economy. About 86 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid,” Kesselman said.

Back by popular demand, the format will remain a strolling reception that features gourmet dining options with chefs in every room, along with delectable desserts. There will be entertainment in each of the four rooms as well as several surprise acts. Seating will be available in each of the four rooms.

New this year, a special room will be dedicated to the silent auction, which raised more than $15,000 last year. The auction will include high-end items such as travel getaways, jewelry, golf and wine baskets.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka has committed to be a partner for this year’s event and has agreed to match the first $10,000 raised through the auction.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 351 has signed on as a Chair Circle sponsor of the event.

Other top sponsors include: ASAPP Healthcare Inc. & Amethyst Personal Growth & Counseling; Dr. Howard and Gayle Gross; Avalon Flooring; Chartwells, a global food services network; Northeast Carpenters/Carpenters Local 255; Saul Ewing, a law firm; Atlantic County Utilities Authority; AtlantiCare; Capaldi Reynolds & Pelosi, a financial services firm; Fulton Bank of New Jersey; Glenn Insurance Company; Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services; Pennoni, consulting engineers; Pennsylvania Trust; Pepsi Beverage Company; The Press of Atlantic City; Quantum Capital Management, L.L.C.; Resorts Casino Hotel; Rothman Institute; Shore Medical Center; South Jersey Industries and Townsquare Media.
